+ How can I get in touch with my Resume Writer?

Please understand that I'm not always sitting around waiting for phone calls. (Some resume writing has to be penciled in!) That's why you can view my availability and schedule a:
I check my email frequently, respond as quickly as I can, and will get back to you within the next business day at the absolute latest.
+ How do I pay for my project?
For Refreshed Resumes, payment will be collected online at the end of the Introduce Yourself form.
For Targeted and Executive Resumes, payment will be collected online at the end of the 30-minute Review Call. For Federal Resumes, payment will be collected online at the end of the 60-minute Phone Consultation.
I guarantee 100% safe and secure payments using Stripe as a payment processor. I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club credit and debit cards.
+ When can I expect my first draft(s)?
For Refreshed and Targeted Resumes, your first draft will be ready for review by 6:00 PM (PST) two business days after your payment has been processed.
For Executive and Federal Resumes, your first draft will be ready for review by 6:00 PM (PST) five business days after your payment has been processed.
For Targeted Cover Letters purchased with your resume, your first draft will be sent with the first draft of your resume. LinkedIn Plus is completed in two business days after your new resume has been finalized, the final documents have been delivered by email, and a short LinkedIn Plus Questionnaire has been filled out.
+ How should I send my revision requests?
I prefer to receive revision requests by email with your notes and requested changes added to the first draft document in a different font color, or you can send your notes and requested changes in the body of an email.
We can also discuss revisions over a 30-minute phone call.
You're welcome to use Tracked Changes to send notes and requested revisions; however, I will make changes to the original file and communicate my feedback by email.
+ How does the Priority Revision Period work?
For Refreshed and Targeted Resumes, any revisions that you request within five business days of receiving your first draft will be completed and a revised resume will be ready for review within the next business day.
For Executive and Federal Resumes, any revisions that you request within 10 business days of receiving your first draft will be completed and a revised resume will be ready for review within the next 48 hours.
+ How does the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee work?
I'll work with you until you're 100% satisfied with your new resume through unlimited revisions. I offer the Priority Revision Period for a quick turnaround, but I cannot guarantee a quick turnaround for revisions after the Priority Revision Period. I will do our best to accommodate your needs, but revisions requested after the Priority Revision Period will be completed and returned to you on a timeframe depending on my availability that week.
I make my recommendations based on proven strategies and my knowledge and understanding of employer expectations in your field. If you ask me to make changes that conflict with my expertise, I am not liable for any negative reactions or lack of response from employers.

+ What is your process for creating Targeted Resumes?
Creating highly targeted resumes is my forte! I'll analyze the job posting(s) you provide and identify the top qualifications and skills that your resume needs to showcase to present you as the best fit for the job. Then I'll add specific examples from your work history that highlight how you have demonstrated these skills to achieve great things in your career.
+ When do I get my Graphic Resume?
When your new resume is finalized, I'll create final documents in multiple file types: a Microsoft Word document, a PDF, and a Plain Text file. When you purchase the Graphic Resume Upgrade, you will receive a custom designed Graphic Resume in place of the standard PDF version of your final documents.
+ What is your design process for Graphic Resumes?
I'll design your Graphic Resume to be appropriate for your industry and career-level using a color scheme that is similar to the conservative color used on your resume's Microsoft Word document version. I also take your personal preferences into consideration. If you have specific design requests, I typically ask for these right away when I send your first drafts.
Since Graphic Resume designs are not eligible for a Priority Revision Period and are limited to only one revision, I highly recommend emailing samples of Graphic Resume designs to me prior to finalizing your new resume's content. Pinterest is a great source of Graphic Resume design ideas.
Purchasing Additional Services
+ Where can I purchase additional services?
Additional services can be purchased within the Client Portal. To access the Client Portal, you will need to login with your assigned access code which you'll receive with your first draft.
If you forgot to order a Targeted Cover Letter with your resume or changed your mind about purchasing LinkedIn Plus, you can contact me and request your access code prior to receiving your first draft.
+ What additional services would you recommend for me?
I'm so glad you asked! Not every job posting will indicate the need for a cover letter (But when it does, make sure it is targeted for that job!); but due to the evolving nature of the modern job search, I highly recommend having a keyword-optimized LinkedIn profile that tells your unique story and showcases more of your personality.
Why? A keyword-optimized LinkedIn profile will improve your visibility in both Google & LinkedIn searches by employers, recruiters, and HR professionals. LinkedIn is also a highly regarded job board. Those with a complete, keyword-rich profile can accelerate their job search with LinkedIn's Easy Apply button. For this reason, I highly recommend LinkedIn Plus for every field and career-level.

+ How does LinkedIn Plus work?
It depends. If you don't have a LinkedIn profile, I'll create one for you. Your new LinkedIn profile will be complete with a keyword-optimized Headline, Summary, Experience, Skills, and Education sections. We'll also boost your profile with any relevant accomplishments like Certifications, Courses, Projects, Honors & Awards, etc.
To keep your LinkedIn content consistent with your new resume information, I do not start this service until your resume content has been finalized and your final documents have been delivered by email.

+ How will LinkedIn Plus help me?
Consider your LinkedIn profile a personal website. All of the content within your personal website is searchable. LinkedIn profiles are searchable to both Google and LinkedIn itself. According to a 2016 Jobvite survey, 87% of corporate recruiters and HR professionals look for qualified candidates on LinkedIn; so having a LinkedIn profile optimized with the keywords that these hiring professionals are using will make you more visible in their searches.
Once your profile is found, it will serve as a public resume. Employers can contact you directly on LinkedIn or direct you to specific job applications that you are a good fit for.
LinkedIn is also a first stop during a background check to validate your resume information. With this service, I'll make sure your LinkedIn profile content is consistent with your resume. I'll also make sure that it tells your unique story and showcases your personality by describing your passions, values, and career goals. These are details that employers love to see! (Just not on your resume...)
Cover Letter Services & What They Include
+ What makes my cover letter a Targeted Cover Letter?
There are so many free (and useless) cover letter templates available online. When you purchase a Targeted Cover Letter from Off The Clock Resumes, I'll write a cover letter that:
- Expresses your interest in the company
- Links how your passions and values align with the company's mission and vision, and
- Describe why you are the ideal candidate
I'll highlight specific examples from your resume that showcase your achievements, major contributions, and/or areas of expertise. I'll also integrate keywords or phrases from the job posting to match your tone of voice to the employer's. These are often commonly used buzzwords that shouldn't be on your resume but can show personality in a cover letter.
+ I purchased Cover Letter Trio. How do I get my cover letters?
When you purchase Cover Letter Trio, you can either redeem all three cover letters instantly or individually over the span of your job search. To redeem your cover letters, visit the Client Portal and login using your access code. If you have misplaced or forgotten your access code, please contact me.
Within the Client Portal, click our "Request Cover Letter" button and provide the information requested including a link to the job posting. Your Targeted Cover Letter(s) will be ready for review by 6:00 PM (PST) in two business days.
